Accuracy and sourcing
We prefer primary documents, named institutions and established news organizations. Material claims should be supported by at least two reputable sources whenever independent confirmation is available. We do not invent quotations, figures or eyewitness detail.
Editorial review
Reports involving war, elections, crime, deaths, medicine, public safety, disputed political claims or financial advice are held for human review. Editors check names, dates, figures, attribution, context and the linked sources before publication.
Automation
Software may assist discovery, research, drafting, translation and the creation of clearly illustrative artwork. Automation does not replace the publisher’s responsibility for the material. Editorial illustrations are identified in their captions and are not presented as documentary photographs.
Corrections
Substantive errors are corrected promptly. When a correction materially changes a published report, the change is disclosed on the article.
Independence
Advertising does not determine editorial conclusions. Sponsored material, if introduced, will be clearly labelled.
